This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw kicked off with Paul Heyman yakking his way into a video package that featured Brock Lesnar finally explaining what that whole retirement thing at WrestleMania 42 was about. Incredibly enough, it was a pitch perfect explanation that added both some real depth to the story and put Oba Femi over just as big as his win that night in Las Vegas did. Lesnar said: > “I didn’t quite get the chance to congratulate you last week on your big victory over me at WrestleMania. Congratulations, Oba. Well done. But that victory is going to cost you more than you could ever imagine. Oh, I’ve had my share of ass whoopings over the years, but none quite like that. It was humbling. You beat my ass at WrestleMania so bad I said ‘that’s it, I’m done.‘ But that doesn’t sit very well with me, Oba. It’s not gonna end that way, Oba Femi. Brock Lesnar can take an ass whooping but can you?

You’re gonna get your ass kicked by a humbled, retired Beast. Brock Lesnar will conquer Oba Femi. I am gonna rule over Oba Femi.” Hot damn! Notably, he still called himself retired, even though he’ll be wrestling Femi at Clash in Italy this coming weekend. He’s obviously near the end and it’s entirely possible and maybe even likely this is simply his way to put Femi over one more time before calling it quits for good. Femi showed up once they cut back to the ring to press Heyman, who was still there talking about Oba awakening “The Beast.” The young gun’s counter? “What about the beast he awakened with all those F-5’s?” He also said he wouldn’t take Heyman out because he needs him alive to tell the story of what he’s about to do, which is retire Lesnar for a second time. This was fantastic all around. Get complete Raw results and coverage of this week’s entire episode by clicking here.

‘Fake And Gay’: Why Elon Musk Is So Mad About ‘The Boys’ Finale - Forbes

ToplineBillionaire Elon Musk on Friday issued a review for ‘The Boys,’ calling its series finale “fake and gay,” as the show has drawn anti-”woke” criticism in recent years for its satirical portrayal of right-wing politics and President Donald Trump. Series creator Eric Kripke, who has acknowledged his show is a right-wing critique, said he would “never get a better review ever.”Getty ImagesKey FactsMusk said the series finale for “The Boys” was “pathetic” in response to an X post on Thursday, which argued the show used Antony Starr’s Homelander as an analogue for Trump as part of a “deranged sexual humiliation fantasy.” Series creator Eric Kripke, in response to Musk, wrote on X: “OMG this is his review of what did to Homelander, I’ll never get a better review ever.” Musk responded by noting he did not watch the show and shared another post he wrote in response to another user who criticized the series finale, in which Musk said, “Kripke probably got from his wife’s for Homelander being used in based memes and had to write that ending as a groveling apology.” In response to one X user who asked Musk why he was upset by the finale, Musk concluded he was “not upset, just remarking that the ending sounds fake and gay.” Musk’s responses appeared to be a broader criticism of how “The Boys” portrayed Homelander in its series finale.
